Dartington Trust
There’s a range of courses, workshops and events in the grounds of Dartington Hall, have a peek at the the full programme here! We love the look of , wine making with the Crush Course (2nd July) and the Introduction to Viticulture on 22nd August!
The Great Lawn Sessions - Thursdays evening (mostly)
Wander along the river path to the lawn at Dartington for free live music on a sunny summer evening - you can sit on the grass with a glass of wine as food and drinks are available from The White Hart. Have a look at the events on The Black Bird Collective page to see whose playing and dates.
Totnes Cinema
Run as a local social enterprise, the revived old cinema is a cool cultural space in Totnes offering cocktails and film screenings. Book your tickets here.
Nighttime Canoeing on the River Dart
The excellent Wildwise offer lots of different outdoor experiences. One of or favourites is the nightime paddle. Canoe up-river whilst its still light, then stop off to enjoy a delicious communal meal around the campfire in the company of the storyteller. The return journey is a magical experience of the river at night as you silently paddle back.
Totnes Market
The antiques and food market in the Civic Square, every Friday and Saturday morning, is one of our favourite places to wander and explore.
